The Doctor

I have been a psychiatrist in San Antonio, Texas for 27 years.  My career path started with an academic position in the Department of Psychiatry at UT Health San Antonio Long School of Medicine.  Later, I began a private practice in adult psychiatry where I also was a Principal Investigator in pharmaceutical research studying various psychiatric medications.  I have served as Staff Psychiatrist for a substance abuse facility, and later as their Medical Director.  I have served as the Co-Chair of the Bexar County Medical Society's Physician's Health and Rehabilitation Committee.  Today, I enjoy my private practice in psychiatry serving teens and adults in San Antonio and I am passionate about writing on subjects affecting mental health!
